Posada Wednesday Night
Posada is a Latin American celebration of the night of the birth of Jesus.  Pilgrims will travel through the grounds of St. Barnabas to help the Holy Family find a room for the night.  At the end of the journey, the pilgrims will have a festive meal followed by fun and game.

Bring your favorite Mexican dish and join us for a fun evening.
Goodbye to the Greenwoods
Rob Greenwood recently returned after a 4 month tour of duty in Korea.  It was good to see Rob again.  However, with Rob's return he got a "permanent change of station."  For us nonmilitary folks that means that the Greenwood family has relocated.  They are in their new duty station, Charleston, S.C

We bid a found farewell to Rob, Kristy, Kaitlin, Bryce and Bryn.

O God, whose fatherly care reacheth to the uttermost parts of the earth: We humbly beseech thee graciously to behold and bless those whom we love, now absent from us. Defend them from all dangers of soul and body; and grant that both they and we, drawing nearer to thee, may be bound together by thy love in the communion of thy Holy Spirit, and in the fellowship of thy saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord.Amen

Notes.........

  •  Al-Anon is now meeting at Saint Barnabas on Saturday afternoons from 1:30-2:30, and they have asked for us to keep clear the block of time from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Please keep this in mind as you look to schedule events at Saint Barnabas and when leaving the parish hall after using it. With many groups using our facilities we need to make extra sure that everything is straight and in order when we leave it
  • Sunday school for children will continue each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. The children join the church service during the Peace and share their lesson with the adults in church.
  • Adult Sunday School continues with a discussion of the history of the American Book of Common Prayer. Steve Brown and Chris Jester will lead the group.
  • Wednesday evening services will continue with Evening Prayer and a potluck dinner. Evening Prayer will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a meal following.
  • Choir Practice is on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.
