Come To the Circle To Recognize...Remember...Reconcile

On May 29-31, 2007

at Red Top Mountain State Park

& New Echota Historic Site, Georgia

Episcopal Bishops Henry Louttit (Georgia), Neil Alexander (Atlanta)

and Bishop Carol Gallagher (Newark) of the Cherokee Nation, OK

Gathered With the Peoples of All Nations To

 Recognize, Remember, Reconcile

  • Attitudes and actions that led to and supported the forced exile - the Trail Where They Cried - which caused the death and loss of the traditional ways of Native Peoples of Georgia.

  • Attitudes and actions that continue to oppress, exclude, and disrespect Indian Peoples, their Homelands, and our Mother Earth.

Create justice, live in communion and harmony.
